For the first time there will be three countries will their own pavilions at it-sa

At this year's it-sa from 10 to 12 October in Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, the spotlight will be on three countries in particular. French, Israeli and Czech companies will be showcasing the expertise of their respective IT industries with their own pavilions in Halls 9 and 10.

The internet knows no borders and the increasingly close-meshed networking of devices is giving cyber criminals new opportunities for attacks. This is why at it-sa, IT security experts will be finding out how they can better protect companies and institutions from digital espionage and sabotage. One source of information will be the three national pavilions available to trade visitors at Europe's largest IT security fair. "This year no less than three nations – France, Israel and the Czech Republic – will have their own pavilions. This underscores the role of it-sa as a dialogue platform for experts who are working together across borders to achieve greater IT security," says Frank Venjakob, Executive Director it-sa at NürnbergMesse.

France makes its second appearance

Following its debut in 2016, France is now making its second appearance with a pavilion at it-sa. It will offer trade visitors solutions for areas like privileged access management, email encryption, VPN clients, tools for software security, and network security. The companies Gatewatcher, Idnomic, TheGreenBow, Quarkslab and Wallix have all already confirmed their participation in the French pavilion in Hall 10. Other companies will follow, says Business France, the business development agency entrusted with organising the pavilion.

Start-up nation Israel back with bigger pavilion

Israel is known for having an innovation-promoting start-up culture and is home to renowned players in the IT security market. At a stand in Hall 9 organised by the Israel Export Institute, start-ups and emerging companies will showcase their combined expertise. This will also be Israel's second pavilion at it-sa following its premiere in 2016, and even at this stage it is clear that more companies than before will be participating. The following firms have registered so far: Bufferzone Security, Coronet, Cronus Cyber Technologies, Cyber SecBI, cyber sixgill, CybeReady Learning Solutions, Cytegic, empow cyber security, GuardiCore, Illusive Networks, Inpedio, Reblaze Technologies, Safe-T Data, Sasa – Software Cooperative Agricultural Society, Scadafence, Secdo and Securely.

Czech Republic puts the spotlight on information security

The Czech Republic will be showcasing its capabilities in Hall 10. Czech Trade, the trade development agency of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Commerce, is organising what will be the country's third pavilion. So far, exhibitors include Datasys, GreyCortex, Novicom and ThreatMark as well as the Network Security Monitoring Cluster, an alliance of Czech organisations and companies working in the field of network and information security.
