Data theft on a massive scale, ransom attacks with serious consequences and targeted digital industrial espionage are just three examples of the downside of digitalisation. To be able to leverage the potential of the digital transformation we need to successfully manage these risks. In 2019, it-sa once again offers the ideal framework for finding out about the latest possibilities for strengthening your own cyber security level and discussing this issue on panels of experts. We all need to work together to sustainably strengthen the cyber resilience of Germany as an industrial base.

Prof. Dieter Kempf, President BDI (Federation of German Industries)
