ITConcepts - Tool-based Role Management
Authorizations are still granted to the best of one's knowledge and belief. Allocations have often grown historically and are not always comprehensible.
go:Roles is a comprehensive tool for the design, control and maintenance of business role models within the framework of an identity and access governance solution (IAG) to make these assignments transparent.
It is used for the initial authorization analysis in preparation for role modeling. Role modeling supports the implementation and continuous operation of an IAG solution with role-based authorization management (RBAC).
In addition, go:Roles provides a basis for any segregation of duties (SoD) that may be required. go:Roles can be operated independently of the IAM systems used.
In addition to central cross-application analysis and role modeling, go:Roles can also be used to perform a dedicated analysis of any application with regard to the authorizations used and the assigned user accounts, thus certifying both authorization objects (roles and individual rights) and users and the assigned authorizations of an application.
Learn about the other advantages and the easy handling of the tool in our presentation.
