Frama - Data protection compliant e-mail communication - solutions to comply with the GDPR and defense ag. cyberattacks
In written business communication, e-mail has taken a firm place in everyday working life. However, most email users are unaware of the risk they are taking when sending a standard email. Confidential information, personal data, annual reports, etc. are sent unencrypted. But these e-mails have the confidentiality level of a postcard. Even laypersons today are able to read and / or modify e-mails with little effort and thus have a chance of causing great damage. Not for nothing have the BKA and LKA specialized departments in cybercrime. And these departments are constantly growing.
The lecture gives an insight into the dangers and solutions for risk minimization:
▪ Which concrete attack methods are available? (Keyword phishing, whaling)
▪ What are the requirements of the GDPR for the processing of personal data?
▪ How can I or my company communicate digitally in compliance with data protection requirements?
