Aruba - Secure integration of IOT devices in corporate networks
The number of IoT devices in our networks is constantly increasing. Such devices are often connected without the knowledge of the network managers. The devices themselves are then often highly vulnerable themselves, since security is not the focus of the suppliers of such devices. Learn about our two-stage security concept for IoT. Security roles give these devices access only to the applications and targets that are required. Here it is important to automatically recognize and classify such IoT devices. Solutions that work with static lists of MAC addresses are doomed to failure. Nobody in the company has the time and leisure to maintain such lists. Automatism is a must here. In any case, the strategy is that the IT rules are defined but the operation must run automatically. Users must be able to allow devices, for example, via appropriate tools or portals. As a second level of safety, the behavior of these devices can be permanently analyzed. Accessing other resources or using other protocols etc. would bring the device into focus from the Introspect solution. A security analyst can then evaluate the behavior. Alternatively, automatic quarantine is also possible.
