Xena offers test modules with all Ethernet speeds from 10 Mbit/s to 400 Gbit/s, including our unique Triple-Speed 10/40/100Gbit/s test modules. Among the currently available form factors are SFP, SFP+ and CFP, as well as soon also 10Gbase-T and QSFP test modules available. And QSFP2 is also planned.
Xenas traffic generation engine represents the state of the art and can emulate a large number of L2-3 traffic flows based on user-defined traffic profiles. The traffic headers include IPv4, IPv6, UDP, MPLS, QinQ, and a variety of other protocols, as well as software applications for automatically and easily generating thousands of traffic streams in large-scale test environments.
Our user-friendly software applications provide accurate real-time measurements of hardware performance per port, stream and filters for latency, jitter, loss, throughput and BER. Real-time histograms, line speed packet recording, high-precision network convergence performance statistics and 40/100G PRBS readings are also provided.
Advanced monitoring of performance metrics with database-driven real-time logging and graphical charts that are constantly updated in real time are powerful troubleshooting and product characterization tools. Other monitoring features include transparent port-to-port loop modes (also known as inline loop mode), for which all RX path functions are available, such as filter statistics and packet recording at WireShark's usual line speed, as well as the ability to join multiple multicast groups per test port.
