The IT basic protection (IT-Grundschutz) is the ISM framework provided by the BSI with the purpose of describing how a systematic protection of IT systems in companies and authorities can be achieved and what steps are necessary to do so. The procedure also enables a certification according to ISO 27001 on the basis of IT basic protection. This provides companies with nationally and internationally recognized proof that an Information Security Management System (ISMS) is fully implemented.
The information security management solution (ISM solution) SAVe was developed by infodas to support the entire IT basic protection process. SAVe is recognized by the certification body of the BSI and has been used successfully for over twenty years in the civil environment by banks, insurance companies as well as authorities, the German Federal Armed Forces and the Federal Police. The latest version of the ISM solution SAVe will be presented at it-sa 2019. It will be available from October 2019.
The advantages of SAVe at a glance:
- The convenient and intuitive user interface is optimally tailored for use by IT security officers and auditors
- The new user interface is browser-based and, with modern graphic elements and global dashboards, provides a complete overview and a high level of functionality
- SAVe visualizes the dependencies of different target objects in a structured way
- The software has a modular structure and can therefore be expanded according to customer requirements
- SAVe is Cloud Ready
This version also contains the current version of the modernized basic protection compendium 2019 as well as updates to existing building blocks. A rapid (re)-certification according to modernized IT basic protection is thus possible for companies without restrictions.
