redGuardian is a carrier-grade, software-defined DDoS mitigation platform, ready to handle fast moving, terabit scale attacks. It is designed for deep inspection of network traffic using the mechanism of signatures, state filters and a library of regular expressions. redGuardian uses an innovative dataplane architecture that enables performance of over 100 million packets per second on a single node. To date, such a performance level was achievable on FPGA and ASIC-based platforms only. The platform is offered in the licensing model (software for the GNU / Linux) and as a service based on a global network of filtering centers located at the most important traffic exchange points in the world.
