Our Founding Mission

In 1997, Dirk Paessler was frustrated by the lack of effective, yet economical, server load and network monitoring software available on the market. So he set out to develop his own. The result is Paessler AG, founded with a mission to offer only the kind of software we would want for ourselves - scalable solutions with a small footprint that take the worry out of network availability and performance. Today we and our strategic partners across the globe, have sold more than 60,000 software licenses and have more than 150,000 active installations.
