The annual Threat Horizon report series provides a practical way for organisations to take a forward-looking view of increasing threats. Understanding these threats is fundamental to aligning business and security strategy.
Information security threats are set to worsen. Organisations risk becoming disoriented and losing their way in a maze of uncertainty, as they grapple with complex technology, proliferation of data, increased regulation, and a debilitating skills shortage. Threat Horizon 2018 identifies nine specific threats that are set out under three thought-provoking themes. The themes engage with particularly difficult cyber security challenges in a way that is relevant to senior business managers, information security professionals and other key organisational stakeholders.
