The DeviceLock Endpoint DLP Suite consists of 4 functional areas in order to protect organizations from all major data leaks:
The context control of local interfaces incl. event logging and data shadowing is accomplished by DeviceLock. Administrators are able to create and enforce policies what data from external devices such as phones, digital cameras, USB flash drives, CD/DVD-R, tablets, printers or MP3 players may be moved to and from corporate PCs.
NetworkLock extends the context control on web and network communication. This data leaks are avoided, which may arise via the web, corporate e-mail, webmail services, instant messenger, social networks (like Facebook, Google+, Twitter) and cloud-based services like Dropbox.
As a full-fledged content filter ContentLock scans files binary for sensitive information like credit card numbers and account information or other information, definable by the user. Through individual and granular policies defined for file access depending on the file content is ensured that only approved data achieve approved goals.
A full-text search of the data and the central Shadow-/Audit-log database stored on DeviceLock Enterprise Server is carried out by the DeviceLock Search Server (DLSS), which offers a precise, easy to handle and efficient support in the labour-intensive processes of information security audits, investigation of irregularities and the file forensics.
